Protecting Immigrants
Danny immediately fulfilled his central campaign promise by formally terminating his office’s 287(g) partnership with ICE, ending the agreement that had deputized his office to assist in the Trump Administration’s mass deportation effort. He signed an additional order prohibiting deputies from inquiring about the immigration status of crime victims, eyewitnesses, or court observers.
Since terminating this partnership, Danny has worked tirelessly to rebuild trust between the immigrant community and local law enforcement.

Danny’s top priority has been improving his office’s ability to protect and support domestic violence survivors. He has increased manpower and shifted additional resources to ensure that the office can act swiftly and effectively to address domestic violence.
- Created a new team dedicated to immediately removing abusers from the home they share with their victims
- Authorized deputies to charge contempt violations, leading to enhanced compliance from abusers
- Dedicated more resources to confiscating firearms and weapons from abusers (women are 5x more likely to be murdered in a domestic violence incident when there is a firearm in the home)
Danny’s reforms led to a county-record average 97% clearance rate for Protection From Abuse Orders, never dropping below 94% in his tenure – up from lows of 78% under the previous administration. These cases are also being cleared faster and on a higher volume than in the past.
Strengthening Public Safety Partnerships
Danny has solidified, expanded, and built new partnerships with federal authorities to keep Bucks County safe. His administration has committed personnel to serve on federal Task Forces, including:
- Homeland Security Investigations to target human trafficking and child exploitation in Bucks County and the surrounding counties
- The United States Marshals Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force to apprehend high-risk fugitives
- The Department of Justice to share intelligence to aid in the capture of local criminals with active warrants.
Megan’s Law
Bucks County is home to hundreds of registered sex offenders. Under Danny’s leadership, Sheriff’s Deputies performed in-person checks on every single one of them to ensure they were complying with their Megan’s Law requirements for the first time in county history.
Fugitive Apprehension
One of the Sheriff’s Office’s primary responsibilities is to bring fugitives to justice. Under Danny’s leadership, the office has increased its criminal warrant arrests by 30.6%, directly contributing to greater public safety for Bucks County residents. Danny has implemented new tactics and strategies, leveraged intelligence resources, and increased manpower to improve his office’s performance.

Serving Our Country
Danny joined the United States Army when he was 18 years old. After four years of training, he earned his commission as a Military Intelligence Officer.
In 2016, Danny was selected to serve in a Joint Special Operations Counter-Terrorism Task Force alongside our nation’s most elite military units and intelligence professionals in Afghanistan. Every day, Danny worked relentlessly to target and eliminate threats from foreign terrorists. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for “beyond exceptional” performance in support of over ninety special operations missions.
When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, Danny was called to serve on the COVID-19 Crisis Management Team at the Pentagon. While on the Crisis Management Team, Danny worked in the National Military Command Center, which functioned as the nerve center for the military’s efforts to support the civilian healthcare infrastructure to save lives across the country.
Between active duty deployments, Danny has spent the majority of his military career stationed with an Army Reserve unit in Bristol Township, just minutes from his home in Bristol Borough.

Fighting For Victims In Court
As an attorney, Danny exclusively represented victims in their fight for justice. He knows what it is like to comfort a widow, parents who have lost children, and people who have suffered unimaginable personal tragedy. He frequently represented victims of sexual assault against institutions that turned a blind eye to sexual violence and foster toxic cultures. He proudly represented survivors of horrific sexual abuse in a lawsuit against a behavioral health facility that was supposed to care for them as children.
Danny was a leader in a national lawsuit on behalf of over 75 police officers, federal law enforcement agents, and combat veterans who were injured when their defective duty pistols discharged from within their holsters. This lawsuit was one of only a handful of successful product liability cases against a major firearms manufacturer in American history.
Danny represented over one hundred Army Veterans in their action against a massive corporation that made hearing protection for Soldiers that the corporation knew was defective. As a result of the corporation’s fraud, countless Soldiers developed hearing loss and tinnitus. Danny was personally issued this faulty hearing protection and suffers from tinnitus.
During law school, Danny was certified to prosecute criminal cases at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. Over the course of two years, he did rotations in the municipal court, juvenile, and charging units. He primarily handled drug cases originating in Philadelphia’s Kensington neighborhood, prosecuting cases stemming from arrests made by the Philadelphia Police Department’s Narcotics Strike Force.

Public Safety Leadership
In 2023, Danny joined Governor Josh Shapiro’s Administration as a senior public safety official. In that position, Danny spearheaded Governor Shapiro’s strategic initiatives to improve emergency response in Pennsylvania. Danny worked inside the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency, in partnership with the Pennsylvania State Police, Pennsylvania Fire Commissioner, and the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security to improve our ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies.
Some of the initiatives Danny led included building a mutual aid system for localities to assist each other during catastrophes, developing artificial intelligence programs for first responders, and administering a brand-new grant program to distribute millions of dollars per year to disaster survivors. Danny also proudly oversaw the creation of the Keystone First Responder Award, which recognizes the heroism and sacrifice of first responders who suffered career-ending injuries or were killed in the line of duty.

At Home
When he’s not working, Danny is a regular at CrossFit Raid in Bensalem, a catcher in the BuxMont Men’s Baseball League, and a certified barbeque competition judge.
Danny lives in Bristol Borough with his spectacularly wonderful wife, Helen and their puppy, Bruce.
